Dr. Caroline Pawlak grew up in South Florida and developed an interest in the medical field from a very young age. While attending the University of Florida as an undergraduate, she was able to explore a variety of specialties through the Shands Hospital volunteer program. She quickly realized Orthodontics allowed her to combine her love of science with her artistic side.
Dr. Pawlak went on to attend dental school at the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She completed her Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics residency at The Ohio State University, earning a specialty certificate as well as a Master of Science. Dr. Pawlak’s research explored how to improve patient and parent understanding of orthodontic treatment. Despite enjoying her time in Buckeye Nation, she’s still a Gator through and through!
Dr. Pawlak is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, Southern Association of Orthodontics and Florida Association of Orthodontics. She also serves on the Board of The Ohio State Orthodontic Alumni Association. When she’s not creating beautiful smiles, you can find Dr. Pawlak trying new restaurants or perfecting her latest recipe; she’s a total foodie! She also enjoys attending concerts, time outdoors and spending time with friends & family. Dr. Pawlak supports a variety of causes by participating in area 5k races. She loves animals and also enjoys volunteering with The CARE foundation in Apopka.
